Guest Authentication Options and Cloud Management Portal

SMS Authentication

The SMS guest authentication method allows guest to securely access your wifi and authenticate with their mobile phone. The procedure is very simple. Guest will select your WiFi Name from the list and click "Connect". The router will direct them to a landing page where they have to enter their mobile number in order to get access to WiFi. The router will then send a WiFi code via a text message to guest mobile phone. Guest enter the code and gets access. 

This option is self run/operated and it does not require motel/hotel operator to interact with guest for WiFi matters. The system is 24/7 maintained and manged by WiFiMax

Shared Password

This is also a very simple and practical cost effective method to authenticate guests. A password can be created via management portal. Hotel operators will have to inform guests about the WiFi password. Guest will select your WiFi Name from the list and click "Connect". Router will ask guest to enter the WiFi password. The password can be changed anytime (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.) via the management portal in the cloud. Mangers can access portal from any location via the internet

Social Media Login

Social Medial login is a very simple straight forward method to authenticate guests. Guests can login to your wifi network by using their social media profile. That means no password is required. Guest will select your WiFi Name from the list and click "Connect". The router then will direct guest to a landing page where they are given options to login with their social media profile. It supports Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. Guest will connect as soon as a profile to authenticated has been selected.

Cloud Management Portal

The cloud management portal allows hotel mangers to monitor and mange their wifi network from any computer terminal in the world. Simply login to the cloud account with a user name and password and have instant access to management.

Training will be provided by us. However we can assist with management anytime, the service being free (included in the monthly fee). The portal offers any tool that managers might need in order to manage their network. From bandwidth management, access by time or data volume, user management. device management to white listing and Mccauth (required for streaming devices such as Roomcast).

The user management section allows operators to access user profiles and statistics such as social media profiles, e-mails, phone numbers, etc.
